Weekend Getaway

Image
When things get hard, take a ride, go somewhere, and have your bestfriend with you.

Sanur

Image
Oh Sanur is like home to me. Whenever I feel like missing home, I'll find a way to visit Sanur and just walk around the beach and cafes. Sanur is different. I don't know. It's just that there's something about it that makes me wanna come back. Sanur isn't as crowded as the others and I like it. It's like a small community where you know everyone. My favourite place to hang out is around Jalan Danau Tamblingan and the beach near it. You can spot me getting in and out of the restaurants or cafes there.  Here are some pictures from my adventures around Sanur.

Oh Transportation Problem

Bali is way different once you live here. I must say that it's really difficult to get around the island if you don't have any car or motorbike, just like I do. I have to think of a different way to get to places. Sure you can use the public transportations here, such as Trans Sarbagita or Kura-Kura Bus, but they aren't everywhere.

My Apology

Image
Oh dear, I am terribly sorry. I know, it's been several months since my last post and that is crazy. Once again, I'm so sorry. I live in Bali now as I've mentioned before in my older post(I think). I'm still adapting here and that's also one of the reasons why I didn't post for sooo long. The first two months was very tough but let's not talk about that because I'm back! Hahaha. I'll post some photos soon and write more about Bali. Once again, please accept my humble apology.

National Gallery

Galeri Nasional Indonesia Hello! Yesterday, I finally visited Galeri Nasional Indonesia or National Gallery of Indonesia with my lovely friend, Olenka. There's no entrance fee but honestly I wouldn't mind to pay because I think it was wonderful.  My advice is to check the website first before you go because there are some interesting exhibitions held here that you don't want to miss.  This one is my favorite Digital Painting 3 beautiful paintings, wonderful colors  They look extremely real Check their website for more info  :   http://galeri-nasional.or.id/en

Pandawa Beach

Image
It's been some very tough weeks for me. I went back to Bali on 27 June and will be in Bali again later on July 17. Honestly, I'm so tired, but I need to get some things done. I do believe that things will get better in the end.  So, I visited Pandawa Beach for the second time because my mom wanted to. Well, what can I say? Somehow, the beach looked more beautiful than my last visit. Pandawa Beach Perfect day to go to the beach It was a perfect day at the beach. At least I could forget my problems for a while.

Karma Kandara, Bali

Image
Hello! I went to Bali last weekend for test and interview in one university there. It was great, I believe I will get accepted. Oh well, fingers crossed though. I visited a few places I've never been before like Karma Kandara, Pandawa Beach, and Garuda Wisnu Kencana (GWK). I wanted to visit Rock Bar so bad but I barely have time because I need to deal with the whole test and interview thing.  Here are some pictures of Karma Kandara Beach, instead of using the inclinator to get down, I chose the stairs because it's challenging and free hahaha. It was a long way down, but it was worth it because I stopped for a while to enjoy the view and took some pictures.  Down to the beach Welcome to Karma Kandara Beach ! A small cafe/bar in Karma Kandara Beach The inclinator Clear water Oh all those steps I would definitely visit Karma Kandara Beach again! I simply love it! Love it especially because of the private feeling, not crowded and it's cl

Hello everybody ! I finally graduated from Santa Laurensia Tourism Vocational School! My graduation day is also my birthday! Hahaha it's pretty funny actually.  I must say that I'm proud of myself to go this far. Even though I'm not the best in my school (well, there's always someone who is smarter than you) but I've worked hard and that is an achievement for myself. My scores are great, most of all I'm thrilled to know that I got 9 on my math! I'm not usually good at math. I know my weakness so I learned math almost everyday hahaha. Well, I would like to thank my math teachers and friends who helped me :) From left to right : Chiqu, Arleen, Tresia, Olenka, Me, and Aurima  After that, I spent the rest of the day celebrating my graduation and birthday.  Well, it was a really lovely day. With my mom and dad Birthday cake! Yum! With my little brother and sister

Little Tyler

Image
I kept this post for quite long in my draft. I guess I will never forget Tyler, although it's been 3 years since he's gone. I miss Tyler so much. Rest in peace, Tyler. Tyler was a cute little baby rabbit. He was only 2 months old when God decided to call him.  My sister always wanted a rabbit so, one day she came home with one. I told her that our father will be angry. He was at first, but Tyler could make anyone fall in love with him. He was very cheerful and love to play.  Below are some photos of Tyler. It was taken the day before he died. My advice is to spend some time with your loved ones because you'll never know what might happen tomorrow. That cute face  Tyler, March - May 2011

Taman Prasasti Museum

Image
Hello! Today I had trip with my buddy, Arleen to Taman Prasasti Museum. We always wanted to visit this museum. We're having a long vacation after the national exam and it's just perfect to explore some places. A lot of people find this museum creepy, but we think it's challenging to go there hahaha. This museum is basically an old graveyard. It is pretty and creepy at the same time. The museum was built during Dutch colonial time in Jakarta or Batavia at that time. Here are some pictures from the museum.
