Leke-Leke, Hidden Waterfall in Bali

Image
Hello guys! How are you? Last week, I saw some photos of this waterfall in Instagram and began my research. It turns out, one of my close friend know this place. The waterfall is located in his grandpa's village and Hendra used to go there as a kid. So he asked me if I wanna go there and of course I said yes hahaha. Photo by Vanessa ( @__vaily__ ) just so you guys see what it's like before rain This enchanting waterfall is Leke - Leke or also known as Kipuan Kebo Waterfall by the locals. It takes about 1,5 hours drive from Denpasar. We put Hendra's car in his grandpa's house, then we borrowed their motorbikes to reach the entrance. The trek down took us 25 minutes from the entrance in Sulangai Village. The trek is slippery especially during rainy season. The rain started just right when we arrived. We unpacked our lunch and decided to wait. We waited for 2 hours total until it stopped completely. Hendra, Suci and Leona. It is very nice before

Colorado Trip

So this has been sitting in my draft since 2017 omg. I set you free. Living in Miami Beach is fun, not much different from Bali. I have to say that Bali has the best beaches. The weather in Miami can be really crazy, then winter comes and it's cold, the wind is super cold. We didn't expect it to be that cold. Okay, so let's have a real winter vacation with snow. We went to Colorado and just had a small chill party. Yes my first snow. We had the best time! This is the view from Cindy's bedroom. So pretty! Me and Leona The apartment is sooooo nice. I wanna live there forever Nardy is taking the picture? Byron Avenue kiddos (7/8)

My Life in the USA

Image
Hello! I'm finally decided to write again after a looooong break. Long break I mean I've been busy with life hahaha. There's alot of new things going on. I am definitely wiser and older, I have new awesome friends. I got mental breakdown on summer because my skin is super sensitive. You can imagine the summer heat in Miami. Really crazy!  I was working in the pool and beach department at that time and yep it was too hot for me and it got really bad. I went to the doctor and she suggested me to talk with the HR to move me inside. After 6 months as beach hostess and helping in Housekeeping department, they finally moved me to the bar & lounge as a server assistant. It's a lot of experience. My first time going to the doctor, first time being in an emergency room, and stuff. I'll definitely write more about my trips around United States. For now, here are some pictures from 1 year in the U.S. as a J1 student. xo, Kia The Living Room C

Gili Islands

Image
Hi, I'm back! I went to Gili Islands two weeks ago, I stayed for 3 days in Gili Air, such a lovely place! I can't choose between 3 islands because every single island has its own beauty and uniqueness. I stayed in Gili Air because I prefer less crowded island, most tourist usually stay in Gili Trawangan, it's where the party is on (there's a traditional night market there, it's great). Gili Meno is not crowded at all, I think it's too quiet for me, perfect for the honeymooners though and it has the best beach. Gili Air is like the combination of Gili Trawangan and Gili Meno in my opinion. It has awesome view and also if you're looking for a little party, Gili Air offers it, even though it's not as crazy as Gili Trawangan's. When on the island, you can go diving, snorkeling, riding bicycle, lay down, do nothing, talk, make some friends, but most of all just relax and make memories. Here are some photos from my last holiday. Enjoy!

Weekend Getaway

When things get hard, take a ride, go somewhere, and have your bestfriend with you.

Sanur

Oh Sanur is like home to me. Whenever I feel like missing home, I'll find a way to visit Sanur and just walk around the beach and cafes. Sanur is different. I don't know. It's just that there's something about it that makes me wanna come back. Sanur isn't as crowded as the others and I like it. It's like a small community where you know everyone. My favourite place to hang out is around Jalan Danau Tamblingan and the beach near it. You can spot me getting in and out of the restaurants or cafes there.  Here are some pictures from my adventures around Sanur.

Oh Transportation Problem

Bali is way different once you live here. I must say that it's really difficult to get around the island if you don't have any car or motorbike, just like I do. I have to think of a different way to get to places. Sure you can use the public transportations here, such as Trans Sarbagita or Kura-Kura Bus, but they aren't everywhere.
